I went to the beach on Tuesday. It was....interesting.
Actually, I have pictures and funny things i overheard, but that will have to wait until work tomorrow.

I haven't sat and counted
Molly sent me this link the other day. I've been slowly making my way through it over the past few days and it's actually way more interesting than I thought. Then again, Molly usually comes through with the links she sends.
So....yeah.

Thanks Disney....
For teaching me what I needed to know about the clap and the neopolitan bone ache.

I think I need help
I've spent the last week now trying to figure out what H+M's in-store playlist is. It's not working out very well and I'd probably have better luck trying to dig up some state secrets. Oh well...at least my search brought my attention to All the Lyric's "Store Music - Identify It" board. It would be great if I spent my days shopping at Forever 21 or Abercrombie, but I'll take what I can get.

Chewing on a chicklet/Make me want to knee dip
I've been in a pretty shitty mood for the last few days for a whole variety or reasons that I won't begin to get into here, but chances are if you're close to me I've shared a couple of them and you're probably already sick to death of them. So, in an attempt to distract myself from feeling like this:

you can look at these:
1. Deee-Lite - Say Ahhh...
Laura put this on a mix last month and I didn't really know/was familiar with it at the time(although upon further thought I had heard it before...but yeah). Since then it's made its way into my rotation of songs that get played, especially while getting dressed to go out.
2. Swedish Coffee Buns/Bread

My goal is to perfect them by the end of the summer. I'm trying to find the original recipe my aunt Martha used to use, but so far no dice. The flavoring is pretty much spot on(though I admit a little extra butter and sugar was used for the center cardamom mixture that gets brushed on an spirals around. Now I just need to work on the baking time/temperature. There's so many different times and temperatures in the all the recipes I've gone through I think it'll be a trial and error kind of deal.
3. The tiny little print that I'm still trying to find a tiny little frame for

I don't really want to go in depth describing it, but it's tiny and the words are lyrics from the song Summer Samba (So Nice) by Astrud Gilberto. It's definitely a song that most people have heard without even realizing it, but it has a good summer feel to it.

....period.
Thank you U.K. edition to the TimesOnline. Without you I would have never have learned that the worst time(or best, depending on your stance on the matter) to introduce yourself to powder cocaine is during the first half of your...uh...lady cycle. According to the Times, "Large amounts of oestrogen also boost levels of the pleasure hormone dopamine and reduce the amount of mucus in your nose, ensuring you will get more of a hit from the drug, thus increasing the risk of addiction."
Other fun things include:
- A higher pain tolerance during the middle of your cycle while you're ovulating.
- Decreased appetite at the start of your period making it easier to start a diet.
I won't spoil the rest, in part because I'm feeling pretty lazy tonight, but also because I'm pretty sure that I've lost maybe 99% of the people who started reading this entry and weren't expecting period related discussion. Sorry....not really.
Actually, it's all kinda interesting if you can look past the gross factor for a minute.
